Delhi LG Completes Self-Enumeration for 2027 Census

New Delhi, May 1: Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor T.S. Sandhu completed his self-enumeration for the 2027 Census on Friday and urged residents to share their census data online. An official confirmed this information.

In a message on the social media platform X, LG Sandhu stated, “I have completed my self-enumeration today as the 2027 Census campaign has officially begun in all wards. This digital initiative empowers citizens to submit their household information directly, ensuring that every resident is accurately counted. Reliable data is crucial for inclusive governance and a strong, developed nation.”

Sandhu encouraged Delhi residents to participate in the self-enumeration process and support the census, emphasizing that their involvement plays a vital role in shaping the future of the city and the nation.

An official also noted that Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has completed her self-enumeration for the 2027 Census, which includes house listing and housing census, calling on citizens to engage in this nationally significant task.

In a message on X, Chief Minister Gupta said, “Today, I registered my details through self-enumeration. This process is simple and completely secure, allowing every citizen to easily participate in this campaign.”

Highlighting the importance of sharing accurate details for the 2027 Census, the Chief Minister stated that precise information is the foundation of good policies. Only based on accurate data can the benefits of schemes reach every needy individual, and development progresses when it includes everyone.

She further urged all Delhi residents to actively participate in the self-enumeration, asserting that their involvement will lay a strong foundation for a developed Delhi and a developed India.
