PM-Kisan 24th Installment Released Before Diwali

Mumbai, October 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the 24th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme just ahead of Diwali. During an event in Banaskantha, he laid the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹14,000 crore. The latest installment amounts to approximately ₹19,000 crore, benefiting over 9.3 crore farmers across the country. This installment follows the previous one released in June 2026.
The PM-Kisan scheme, initiated in February 2019, has disbursed ₹4.47 lakh crore to eligible farmers in 23 installments so far. Under this scheme, eligible landholding farmer families receive ₹6,000 annually in three installments, transferred directly to their bank accounts linked with Aadhaar through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
To qualify for the benefits, farmers must have their land details registered on the PM-Kisan portal, their bank accounts linked to their Aadhaar cards, and have completed the e-KYC process. Farmers can check their eligibility on the official PM-Kisan website.
It is essential for registered farmers to complete their e-KYC, as failure to do so may result in the suspension of their installment. The e-KYC can be completed online or at nearby Common Service Centers (CSC) or State Service Centers (SSK).
