
UDAIPUR : A constable posted at Bhensroadgarh police station in Chittorgarh district died of a gunshot wound from his service rifle early on Tuesday. Constable Chetram Gurjar, 30, resident of Karauli, was on duty till 6am and the incident took place at 5.30am.
Hearing the gunshot, cops present in the police station rushed to the spot and took him to Rawatbhata hospital where he was declared as brought dead by doctors. According to the police, the constable had a bullet injury on his left shoulder. Chittorgarh SP Rajan Dushyant, additional superintendent of police Subhash Chandra Mishra and DSP Prabhu Lal reached the police station to take stock of the situation.
