Congress manifesto row: VHP sends Legal Notice Congress President

New Delhi : The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has sent a legal notice to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge seeking compensation of Rs 100 crore in a defamation case. The VHP alleges that Congress has made derogatory remarks against the VHP in its manifesto for the Karnataka elections.

The notice has been issued by the Chandigarh unit of the VHP. In this legal notice sent on May 4, compensation has been demanded within 14 days.

It is noteworthy that in its manifesto related to the Karnataka assembly elections, Congress had talked about action against the Bajrang Dal and its workers. Alleged while comparing with PFI.
