Udaipur, December 2 (Udaipur Kiran) | The Department of Anatomy at Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences, Umarda, Udaipur, organised a cadaveric oath ceremony for MBBS students prior to cadaver dissection. The oath was administered to the students by Principal Dr Suresh Goyal, Academic Director Dr Dileep Kumar, and Head of the Department Dr Ganesh Khemnar.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Suresh Goyal said that the human body (cadaver) is considered the first teacher of every doctor, as it is through the human body that medical students gain knowledge of professional principles, conduct, and compassionate behaviour.
The objective of the oath is to inculcate in students the lifelong practice of treating the human body with the highest respect, maintaining the confidentiality of the cadaver, and using the knowledge gained through the sacrifice of the deceased and their family in the service of society.
During the programme, Dr Pranav, Dr A L Bejentri, Dr Chintan, Dr Prakash K G, Dr Sania, Dr Shobhit Shrivastava, Dr Shabina, Dr Ram Prakash Saini, Dr Manheet, Dr Najima, and Dr Vijay Lakshmi were also present.
