Udaipur, April 24 (Udaipur Kiran): The Old Boys Association of Bhopal Nobles Institution has issued a statement amid the ongoing dispute within the institution, urging members to stay away from factionalism until the audit process is completed.

The association, representing around 1,800 former students, stated that the recent controversy stems from alleged favoritism and promotion of family-based selections over merit in the induction of new members. It further claimed that some members were approaching the court instead of following the directions of the Chief Patron Maharana Vishvaraj Singh Mewar, which it termed against established traditions.
The association appealed to members to set aside personal interests and ego, and work in the larger interest of the institution. It also suggested that operations be handed over to the ad-hoc committee formed by the Chief Patron until the audit is completed.
Meanwhile, Devra Noble Society submitted a memorandum to the District Collector on Thursday, protesting against alleged objectionable remarks made in reference to Maharana Vishvaraj Singh Mewar. The group demanded action against those responsible for the remarks.
