Jodhpur, April 24 (Udaipur Kiran): Railways has announced a temporary increase of 38 additional coaches across 16 pairs of trains operating from and passing through the Jodhpur division to manage the surge in passenger traffic during the summer vacation season.

Divisional Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi of North Western Railway said the augmentation will be implemented in a phased manner during May across multiple services.
Trains to Get Additional Coaches:
- 22977/78 Jaipur–Jodhpur Express: 1 First/Second AC and 1 Third AC coach
- 14801/02 Jodhpur–Indore Express: 2 Sleeper and 3 General coaches
- 12465/66 Indore–Bhagat Ki Kothi Express: 2 Sleeper and 3 General coaches
- 14854/53 14864/63 14866/65 Jodhpur–Varanasi City Marudhar Express: 1 Third AC coach each
- 14807/08 Jodhpur–Dadar Express: 1 Third AC and 2 Sleeper coaches
- 20483/84 Bhagat Ki Kothi–Dadar Express: 1 Third AC and 2 Sleeper coaches
- 04827/28 Bhagat Ki Kothi–Bandra Terminus Special: 1 Third AC and 2 Sleeper coaches
- 20485/86 Jodhpur–Sabarmati Express: 1 Third AC and 2 Sleeper coaches
- 20491/92 Sabarmati–Jaisalmer Express: 1 Third AC and 2 Sleeper coaches
- 22497/98 Sri Ganganagar–Tiruchchirappalli Express: 1 Third AC coach
- 20481/82 Bhagat Ki Kothi–Tiruchchirappalli Express: 1 Sleeper coach
- 12495/96 Bikaner–Kolkata Express: 1 Third AC and 1 Sleeper coach
- 22473/74 Bikaner–Bandra Terminus Express: 1 Third AC and 1 Sleeper coach
- 22491/92 Jodhpur–Delhi Express: 1 Third AC and 1 Third AC Economy coach
The move is expected to reduce waiting lists and improve availability of confirmed tickets. Passengers travelling from Rajasthan to destinations such as Mumbai, Delhi, Varanasi, Indore and southern India are likely to benefit from this arrangement.
