BJP failed to open account in many districts: Akhilesh

Balrampur (UP), Feb 26 : Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday claimed that SP alliance has taken decisive lead in the first four phases of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will fail to open its account in many districts. Addressing a public meeting here, Akhilesh said, “In the polling held so far BJP will fail to open its account in many districts. Similarly in the sixth phase of polling people of Balrampur will uproot the tracks of lies of the double engine government and will not allow it to open its account.” He alleged that inflation and corruption has increased in the double engine government. “GST destroyed the business of traders. “During the lockdown BJP left the workers on their own due to which a number of people died. The BJP government did not help any one, it was SP workers who came forward to help the people,” he said. The SP president said that the Yogi government left no stone unturned in destroying the state. “The BJP government which promised to double the income of the farmers, failed to give the minimum support price. The farmers didn’t get fertilizer and DAP. It made petrol and diesel expensive,” he said. Reiterating promises in the manifesto of the SP, he said that a corpus fund will be created to ensure payment of cane farmers within 15 days when the party forms the government. “When SP will form the government we will provide free treatment and medicine to the poor and double the number of ambulances. Will stop outsourcing and permanent jobs will be given,” he said. He said that in addition to this 300 units electricity free will be given to the domestic consumers and irrigation will be free for the farmers. XC AB SHK2131
