New Delhi, 23 December (Udaipur Kiran) – ReNew Power Infra Limited announced on Tuesday that AP Moller Capital’s Emerging Markets Infrastructure Fund II (EMIF II Holding) will invest up to ₹1,350 crore in the company’s renewable energy projects. This investment will be made through project-specific special purpose vehicles (SPVs).
The company stated that this capital infusion will lead to a total project expenditure of at least ₹5,200 crore. The investment is expected to significantly scale up operations, provide clear long-term revenue visibility, and open opportunities for further collaborations. This marks AP Moller Capital’s first investment in India, highlighting the country’s growing status as a global hub for renewable energy and increased confidence in its long-term economic fundamentals.
Ketan Mehta, CEO and Managing Director of ReNew Power Infra, described the partnership with AP Moller Capital as a major milestone. He said the collaboration strengthens the company’s vision to develop renewable energy infrastructure at a large scale. Mehta emphasized that the investment showcases the strength of ReNew Power Infra’s development platform and enhances its ability to rapidly deliver large solar assets across India.
