Udaipur, October 28 – In compliance with the Social Security Pension Schemes, annual verification has been mandated for all pensioners receiving old age, disability, and widow pensions within the district. Joint Director Girish Bhatnagar stated that, to date, 3,85,394 pensioners have completed their annual verification, yet approximately 42,000 pensioners still have pending verification.
Pensioners who have not yet completed their annual verification are urged to do so immediately through the e-Mitra platform or directly with their pension-approving officer. Failure to complete the verification process will result in the suspension of pension payments, for which the pensioners will be solely responsible.
This annual verification is essential to ensure that benefits continue without interruption for all eligible individuals under the Social Security Pension Schemes.
