Udaipur, April 23 (Udaipur Kiran): Pacific University will host its 17th international conference on Friday, bringing together experts from commerce and management fields. The conference, organised by the Faculty of Commerce and Management, will focus on the theme “Redefining Business Paradigm through Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and AI for Sustainability and Inclusivity.”
The event will highlight the need to combine traditional business practices with artificial intelligence to drive sustainable and inclusive growth. More than 400 experts are expected to present their views across 11 tracks during the conference.
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani will attend as the chief guest. Other distinguished attendees include Prof. B.P. Sharma, Chairman, UNESCO MGIEIP Asia Pacific and President (Planning and Control), and UCCI Udaipur President Manish Galundia. The presidential address will be delivered by Pacific University President Prof. Hemant Kothari.
Pacific Group Chairman Rahul Agrawal said the objective of the conference is to encourage businesses to move beyond short-term gains and focus on long-term, responsible growth by considering environmental, social and governance factors.
Group Director Preeti Agrawal emphasised that integrating traditional knowledge with modern technologies, especially AI, can lead to improved outcomes. She noted that industries aiming for expansion and competitive advantage must adopt AI.
Prof. Hemant Kothari stated that over 400 participants have already registered for the conference, reflecting its relevance and wide acceptance. Registrar Sharad Kothari added that discussions will focus on shifting from conventional thinking to adopting modern technologies.
Organising Director and Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Prof. Dipin Mathur said the platform aims to bring together academicians, industry experts and policymakers for meaningful dialogue. Group Director Aman Agrawal described the conference as an important step towards building a more responsible, sustainable and technology-driven future for business.
