Ajmer, February 16, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) — Tata Power, which manages electricity distribution in Ajmer, has announced a scheduled shutdown for maintenance work today. Several areas of the city will face power cuts of up to seven hours between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.

According to the official schedule, electricity supply will remain suspended in the following areas:
D3: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm — Chamunda Colony, CRPF area and nearby localities.
D4: 10:00 am to 5:30 pm — Khajpura, Chakki Factory, Padmini Resort, Nadi Wala Bera, Anjani Steel, Ajmer Udyog, B.Ed College, Hathundi, Tabiji Road, Hathundi Hospital, Gas Godown, Hathundi Badiya, Hathundi Shamshan, Virender Poultry Farm, Nahar Wala Khand, Masjid Wala Khand and adjoining areas.
D1: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm — Mahadev Nagar, Garhi Malyan, Ashok Nagar, Ashok Vihar, Narishala Road and nearby areas.
D1: 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm — Sita Gaushala, Rajendra School, Paharganj, Upper 5 Shops, Lower 5 Shops, Water Tank area and surrounding localities.
SN: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm — Khadim Hotel area and nearby localities.
SN: 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm — Gugarghati, Pawan Shut Colony, Mirshali Colony, Indra Colony, Taj Global School and adjoining areas.
D3: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm — Gandhi Chowk, Boraj Village, Bhati Ki Dhang, Ramsingh Chauraha, Gota Colony-1, Water Tank area and surrounding localities.
