✔ Video Mode – Default mode that plays the official music video.
✔ Lyrics Mode – Displays real-time scrolling lyrics on the left side of the screen, similar to YouTube Music on mobile.
✔ Artwork Mode – Centers the album artwork with a blurred background, showing song title and artist details underneath.
Seamless Integration for an Enhanced Music Experience
- The new Display options appear when launching a song from the YouTube Music tab or home screen app shortcut.
- Users can quickly switch between Video, Lyrics, and Artwork with persistent settings across songs and videos.
- Available on YouTube version 5.22+ for Android TV, with rollout extending to other smart TV platforms.
A More Immersive Music Experience on TVs
With real-time lyrics, interactive artwork, and seamless toggling between modes, YouTube’s latest update transforms televisions into an enhanced music hub. This upgrade is perfect for users who prefer a ‘lean-back’ experience, making music listening more engaging and visually appealing on the big screen.
