Patna, July 26: Nitin Naveen, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program on Sunday in the Pir Mohani-Lohani Pur area of Patna, alongside local residents and family members.
After the program, he stated that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has become an effective platform for showcasing innovations, social efforts, and environmental initiatives undertaken by the people of the country, giving them both national and global recognition. Naveen emphasized that the program disseminates information about positive experiments and community-building efforts happening across various sectors.
He noted that the initiative not only inspires ordinary citizens but also honors their contributions. Highlighting the Prime Minister’s recent appeal to promote handloom and khadi, Naveen expressed confidence that these traditional crafts would strengthen India’s identity in the future. This, he believes, will invigorate local artisans, weavers, and traditional industries, further bolstering the ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign.
Referring to the completion of 100 days of the Bihar government, the BJP President expressed his belief that under Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary’s leadership, the khadi and handloom sectors would receive special attention. He hopes that the state government will take effective steps for the development of these sectors, thereby promoting local employment and traditional industries.
Nitin Naveen shared that listening to ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with his family and local residents in Bankipur was an emotional and joyful experience for him, as it is the area where he spent his childhood. Hearing the Prime Minister’s message with his community holds special significance for him.
