MP Mannalal Rawat Says Narayan Seva Sansthan Has Enhanced Mewar’s Prestige

Udaipur, October 19: Narayan Seva Sansthan organised a Mahapuja of 501 girls with disabilities at its World of Humanity campus on Monday, with devotion and religious fervour. Udaipur MP Dr Mannalal Rawat attended the event as the chief guest. He performed the aarti of the girls and offered prasad. He also interacted warmly with girls who had benefited from surgical treatment, enquiring about their health and the changes in their lives following treatment.

Rawat said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given persons with disabilities the respectful identity of Divyang and introduced several schemes for their empowerment. He added that Narayan Seva Sansthan was bringing pride to the Mewar region through free humanitarian services and service camps across the country.

He described the institution’s work as an exemplary initiative that inspires hope and confidence among persons with disabilities.

Institution’s Work Includes Treatment, Surgery and Rehabilitation

Padma Shri Kailash Manav, founder of Narayan Seva Sansthan, and director Vandana Agrawal were also present at the programme.

Vandana Agrawal briefed the MP on the institution’s service activities. She said the organisation helps large numbers of people in need every day by providing medical treatment, surgeries, artificial limbs, calipers and rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities.

Mahapuja Promotes Dignity, Equality and Social Acceptance

Narayan Seva Sansthan president Prashant Agrawal said the institution had been organising the worship of girls with disabilities for several years, viewing them as manifestations of Goddess Durga with faith and dedication.

He said the Mahapuja held during Navratri was not merely a religious ritual but an act of service conveying a message of dignity, equality and sensitivity. The initiative aims to help girls with disabilities and their families experience respect, belonging and social acceptance.

Agrawal added that the smiles of girls who had benefited from treatment and surgery, along with the renewed hope in their families, represented the true reward of the institution’s service.

The participation of the girls and their family members made the Mahapuja a deeply moving occasion.
