Sonipat, April 14 (Udaipur Kiran) : A young man from Sonipat was shot dead in Canada. The deceased youth had gone to Canada in 2022 to pursue his MBA studies. The family has sought justice by appealing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister Jaishankar to bring their son’s body back to India.

According to available information, Chirag Antil, the younger son of Mahavir Antil, a retired employee of the Haryana government’s Sugar Mill Department, had gone to Vancouver, Canada, on a study visa in September 2022. He completed his MBA degree there and was working for a company. On Saturday, unidentified assailants shot him in Canada, resulting in his death.
Chirag’s elder brother, Ronit, revealed that he had spoken to Chirag on Saturday morning, and at that time, Chirag seemed very happy. However, when he left home in his car, unknown individuals fired shots at his Audi, leading to his tragic demise.
The family has also contacted a Canadian police officer, who confirmed the incident over the phone. However, the officer has not provided any further details about how the incident occurred or the reasons behind it. The family is seeking justice and appealing to Prime Minister Modi and Foreign Minister Jaishankar to ensure that they receive justice.
