Why Mewar’s Role Matters
Mewar, renowned for its rich cultural heritage, valorous history, and diverse economy, is poised to play a critical role in India’s developmental journey. The event aims to not only highlight the region’s traditional strengths such as mining, handicrafts, hospitality, and agriculture, but also to propose pathways for sustainable and inclusive growth across all sectors.
Joshi emphasized that development in Mewar must extend beyond infrastructure, focusing equally on environmental preservation, education, health, sanitation, digital connectivity, and women’s empowerment. The larger goal is to build a self-reliant, educated, and aware citizenry across every village and town in the region.
