He had emphasized the need for better rail connectivity between Udaipur and Ahmedabad via the Vande Bharat train. Additionally, he proposed renaming the Asarwa-Jaipur train as “Mangadh Dham Express” and requested new Vande Bharat services to Indore and Surat from Udaipur.
As per the initial plans, the Western Railway, Mumbai, has already begun outlining the schedule for the Udaipur-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat service. The train is anticipated to operate six days a week, excluding Tuesdays.
Proposed Schedule:
- Departure from Udaipur: 6:10 AM
- Arrival at Asarwa: 10:25 AM
- Intermediate Stop: Himmatnagar
- Return from Asarwa: 5:45 PM
- Arrival at Udaipur: 10:00 PM
