464 km of Asphalt Roads to Be Built Across Udaipur and Salumber; ₹347 Crore Project Approved

UDAIPUR — April 15, 2025 — In a major infrastructure boost for Rajasthan’s Udaipur parliamentary constituency, 195 villages — including 136 in Udaipur district and 59 in Salumber — will be connected through asphalt roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). The initiative, driven by local demands and facilitated by MP Mannalal Rawat, has received formal approval from the Government of India.
Major Road Connectivity Plan Rolled Out
Over the next three years, a total of 464 kilometers of rural roads will be constructed to connect previously isolated villages. The approved projects cover multiple blocks in both districts and aim to transform rural accessibility, promote regional development, and enhance mobility.
