Udaipur, May 20 (Udaipur Kiran) — The Rajasthan High Court has cancelled the stay on the arrest of accused Anil Jaroli in a case related to alleged assault and attempted rape of a BJP woman leader and councillor.

Following the High Court order, the complainant has submitted a letter to Superintendent of Police Amrita Duhan demanding immediate arrest of Anil Jaroli.
According to the case details, the BJP woman leader and councillor had last year lodged a complaint against Anil Jaroli, alleging that he entered her house, assaulted her, behaved indecently, and attempted rape.
During the proceedings, Anil Jaroli had secured a stay on his arrest from the Rajasthan High Court. In his petition, he reportedly claimed that the matter was linked to financial and business dealings and alleged that he had been called to the complainant’s residence before a false case was registered against him.
The complainant, through her advocate, submitted a detailed response before the High Court along with relevant facts and evidence related to the case.
After hearing the matter, the High Court observed that investigation in the case was necessary and subsequently vacated the stay on Anil Jaroli’s arrest.
Following the court order, the complainant has urged police authorities to arrest the accused at the earliest.
