Udaipur: The Sukher police station has arrested an accused, Mohammad Safiqul alias Saddam alias Bholakhan of Nimbahera, who was absconding in a case of firing at a bar manager for demanding extortion money.
Rajesh Mewada, counter manager of Twist Bar, had lodged a complaint that on the night of January 27, at around 11 pm, two youths came to the bar. One of them introduced himself as Yuvraj, a resident of Dewali, and said that if he wanted to run the bar, he would have to pay him Rs 2 lakh per month, otherwise he would lock it up.

About 30 minutes later, Yuvraj came with his associates Praveen Salvi, Mahpal Salvi and 4-5 other youths and assaulted the staff. Yuvraj fired from a gun.
The police have arrested the accused under sections 384, 323, 336, 147, 148, 149 of the IPC and the Arms Act. The investigation of the case is underway.
