ASFC Suspends Celebrity Football Matches After Tiger Shroff Shooting Incident
Following a shooting incident involving Tiger Shroff, the All Stars Football Club has indefinitely suspended its Sunday celebrity football matches in Mumbai.

MUMBAI, Oct 27: The All Stars Football Club (ASFC) has suspended its weekly celebrity football matches in Mumbai indefinitely after a shooting incident involving actor Tiger Shroff on October 18. The club’s owner, Bunty Walia, made the decision amid growing concerns for player safety.
This decision follows an alarming event where two unidentified gunmen fired multiple shots at Shroff’s vehicle outside the Jamnabai Narsee School grounds in Juhu, where the matches are held. Walia confirmed that the scheduled practice session on October 25 has also been canceled due to these safety fears.
Walia said, “We are not sure about the next practice session. We’ll need to discuss with the police as to how to go forward.” He emphasized the need for rigorous safety measures before any matches can resume.
The Mumbai Crime Branch is currently investigating the shooting, which has left many players, including stars like Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor, shaken. As a precaution, the ASFC is reconsidering its operational strategies. Future matches may be organized with strict confidentiality regarding dates and locations to ensure the safety of participants and limit public crowds.
For now, the Sunday football matches, a staple for fans and paparazzi alike, will remain suspended until comprehensive safety protocols are established.
