Kolkata, June 15 (Udaipur Kiran) – Trains in the Sealdah Division of the Eastern Railway will once again be cancelled, causing inconvenience to passengers. According to railway sources, several local trains have been cancelled on Saturday and Sunday.
Last week, platforms one to five at Sealdah station were closed due to maintenance and signaling work, which caused trouble for rail passengers.

According to the Eastern Railway, work will continue on the up line between Dum Dum and Baranagar stations from 10:30 PM on Saturday night to 6:30 AM on Sunday morning. Additionally, work will be carried out on both the up and down lines between Dum Dum and Belgharia stations from 11:40 PM on Saturday night to 5:40 AM on Sunday morning, resulting in the cancellation of several trains during this period. Some express train routes have also been shortened.
Railway sources indicate that on Saturday, the up 32249 and down 32252 locals on the Sealdah-Dankuni line will be cancelled. On Sunday, the up 32211, up 32213, up 32215, and up 32217 locals, as well as the down 32212, down 32214, down 32216, and down 32218 locals on the Sealdah-Dankuni line, will be cancelled. Furthermore, the routes of several express trains will be changed on Saturday. These include the Kolkata-Sitamarhi Express, Sealdah-Ajmer Express, and Sealdah-New Alipurduar Padatik Express, which will run via Dum Dum-Naihati-Bandel instead of Dum Dum-Dankuni on Saturday.
