Traffic Diversions, No-Vehicle Zones, and Parking Guidelines Issued for Smooth Flow
Udaipur, February 26, 2025: As part of the annual Maha Shivratri fair in Kailashpuri, scheduled from February 25 to February 27, 2025, the Udaipur City Police has implemented special traffic arrangements to ensure smooth vehicular movement and pedestrian safety.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Umesh Ojha has outlined the following traffic regulations for the duration of the festival:

1️⃣ Traffic Diversion: Restricted Movement & Heavy Vehicle Route Changes
🚧 Restricted Road Section:
🔹 From Bhuwana Bypass to Munwas Jhalo Ka Guda, the road will be exclusively reserved for pedestrian pilgrims from February 25, 2025 (3:00 PM) to February 27, 2025 (4:00 PM).
🚛 Diversion for Heavy Vehicles:
📍 Udaipur to Nathdwara & Vice Versa:
✔ All heavy vehicles from Udaipur to Nathdwara will be diverted via Nathuwas-Mavli Road from February 25 (3:00 PM).
✔ Vehicles from Pratapnagar will be rerouted via Debari-Dabok-Mavli-Chittorgarh Road.
✔ Vehicles approaching from Gogunda Road will be diverted via Amberi Pulia → Debari → 76 T-Point → Kaya Kundal Highway → Dabok Road → Pratapnagar.
⚠ Restricted Routes for Heavy Vehicles:
🚫 No heavy vehicles will be allowed under Amberi Pulia.
🚫 No heavy vehicles will be permitted on Bhuwana/Nathdwara Road from Amberi Pulia.
🚙 Light vehicles (cars, two-wheelers, three-wheelers) can travel to and from Udaipur City.
2️⃣ No-Vehicle Zone
🔹 The following stretch will be a No-Vehicle Zone during the fair:
✔ Lake View Restaurant → Baghela Talab → Kailashpuri Village → Eklingji Temple → Bappa Rawal Mode
🚷 Only pedestrians will be allowed in this area.
3️⃣ Parking Arrangements for Different Vehicles
🚗 Four-Wheeler & Private Bus Parking:
📍 Parking Zone 1: Munwas, near Eklingji Dairy – For four-wheelers, three-wheelers & private buses
📍 Parking Zone 2: Opposite Panghat – For additional four-wheelers & three-wheelers
🛵 Two-Wheeler & Roadways Bus Parking:
📍 Near Siroya Cement (Open Ground) – For Roadways Buses
📍 Below Siroya Cement (Farms Area) – For Two-Wheelers
🚖 Four-Wheeler & Three-Wheeler Parking for Delwara & Rajsamand Visitors:
📍 Near Ramsingh Ji Hotel / Prem Sagar Dhaba (Pothiya Dhati) – Dedicated parking for visitors from Delwara & Rajsamand district
🛵 Two-Wheeler Parking for Delwara Route:
📍 On both sides of the road from Bappa Rawal T-Point
4️⃣ Emergency Vehicle Access & Public Advisory
🚑 Unrestricted Access for Emergency Services:
✔ Ambulances, Fire Brigades, and other emergency services will be exempt from these restrictions.
📢 Important Public Guidelines:
✔ Avoid parking vehicles on main roads to prevent congestion.
✔ Cooperate with traffic police for smooth and safe movement.
✔ Follow all designated parking instructions for hassle-free access to the fair.
