From September 29 to October 3, if tourists take two days off, they can enjoy a long weekend. As a result, Udaipur hotels are already seeing advanced bookings. Most hotels are crowded with tourists, and in addition to pre-bookings, many visitors are arriving and booking rooms on the spot.
Tourists are flocking to see the beauty of Udaipur’s lakes, which are filled to the brim due to the monsoons. Despite the Shraddh period, the trend of tourists arriving during weekends continues. According to the Hotel Association, tourists with advanced plans begin arriving in the last days of Shraddh. The tourist season will begin with Navratri and continue through Christmas. During this period, the highest number of Bengali and South Indian tourists arrive, and this trend will continue until Durga Ashtami. Pre-bookings for these tourists have already been made.
Not only large hotels but also budget hotels are fully booked during this time. With the upcoming three-day weekend at the start of Navratri, there has been a boom in tourist arrivals. Tourists will begin arriving in Udaipur from the evening of September 28. With Sunday on September 29, and two days off on September 30 and October 1, combined with the Gandhi Jayanti holiday on October 2 and Navratri on October 3, tourists will be able to enjoy five days of leisure and sightseeing.
