Shriram Finance Shares Jump Over 6% After 8% Rise in Q2 Consolidated Net Profit

Mumbai (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Shriram Finance surged over 6% in Tuesday’s trade after the company reported an 8.12% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2FY26).

At Rs. 797.20, the stock was up by Rs. 48.40 or 6.46% from its previous close of Rs. 748.80 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 762.35 and touched an intraday high of Rs. 800.00 and a low of Rs. 759.75. Around 7.3 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far.

The stock also recorded its 52-week high of Rs. 800.00 on November 3, 2025, and a 52-week low of Rs. 493.60 on January 20, 2025. The company’s current market capitalization stands at Rs. 1,50,056 crore.

As per shareholding data, promoters hold 25.39%, while institutional investors and non-institutions hold 68.26% and 6.35% respectively.

During the quarter, Shriram Finance’s standalone net profit rose 11.39% to Rs. 2,307.18 crore, compared to Rs. 2,071.26 crore in the same period last year. Its total income grew 18.03% year-on-year to Rs. 11,916.73 crore, against Rs. 10,096.68 crore in Q2FY25.

On a consolidated basis, the company reported a net profit of Rs. 2,314.17 crore, up from Rs. 2,140.40 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, marking a solid 8.12% rise. Consolidated total income increased 18.07% to Rs. 11,921.33 crore from Rs. 10,096.68 crore in the same period of the previous year.
