Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has approved the redevelopment plans for all three stations. During a video conference meeting, the Railway Minister emphasized that Sanganer station in Rajasthan should be developed to world-class standards, similar to Gandhinagar and Jaipur Junction. According to railway officials, the blueprint for the modernization of these stations has been prepared and approved by the Railway Minister. Construction will begin as soon as the Railway Board grants approval. The total investment for the redevelopment of the three stations is estimated to exceed ₹850 crore. They will be developed on the lines of city centers.
Regarding Ajmer, the Railway Minister stated that the design work should align with the current architectural essence of the station.
