Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is set to be unveiled in the coming months, and the company’s next-generation book-style foldable phone could arrive with two notable display changes. The whistleblower revealed images of the two screen protectors. One is said to be for the Galaxy Fold 5 and the other for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The original cover’s screen is 57.4mm wide, while this year’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 screen protector has a slightly wider outer screen at 60.2mm. This also means that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have a wider aspect ratio than its predecessor.
Another notable difference between these two foldable phones is the edge of the screen. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has rounded corners, while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has noticeably sharper edges. This is similar to the corners of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 screen protector also suggests that the top and bottom edges of the phone’s outer display will be thinner.
