Xiaomi to Launch 18 Pro Series Globally This Month
Xiaomi has announced the international release of its 18 Pro series, featuring higher prices and smaller battery capacities than its Chinese versions.

NEW DELHI, Nov 2: Xiaomi has confirmed that the global launch of the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will occur later this month, following their introduction in China in September. The announcement was made via a post on the company’s social media accounts.
Recent listings from an Italian retailer have provided details on the expected prices. The Xiaomi 18 Pro is expected to retail at €1,398.90 for the 12GB/256GB version, while the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be available for approximately €1,783.90 in a single 12GB/512GB configuration.
Both smartphones reportedly received certification from the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, indicating their imminent launch. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has the model number 2611FPNFAG, while the 18 Pro is listed as 2609BPN61G.
Specifications for the global variants have surfaced, showing some changes compared to their Chinese counterparts. The Xiaomi 18 Pro is expected to feature a smaller 6,000mAh battery, reduced from 7,000mAh, while the 18 Pro Max will come with a 7,050mAh battery instead of 8,500mAh. The charging speeds may also differ, with the international variant of the 18 Pro using 90W charging compared to the 100W of the Chinese model.
The core features, however, will remain largely unchanged. Both devices are expected to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset and include advanced camera setups, with a 200 MP main sensor, a 200 MP periscope telephoto, and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. The models will also feature a secondary rear AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Xiaomi aims to launch the 18 Pro series in various international markets, including Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. Specific countries have not yet been confirmed, but a launch in India is expected to follow shortly after the global rollout.
As consumer anticipation builds, Xiaomi is expected to reveal more details soon, including the exact launch date.
