New Delhi, February 24: A great opportunity has emerged for those preparing for government jobs. Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of engineering professionals for a total of five positions.
The online application process for the positions began on February 20 and the last date to apply is set for March 16. Eligible and interested candidates looking to apply for the positions can fill out their application forms on the official website within the stipulated time frame.
The positions available for engineering professionals include one Joint General Manager (Civil-Tunnel Construction Expert), three Deputy General Managers (Transport Economist), and one Manager (Transport Economist).
The maximum age limit for applicants varies according to the position, with 43 years for the Joint General Manager, 41 years for the Deputy General Manager, and 35 years for the Manager, calculated as of March 16. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Candidates applying for the different engineering professional positions must hold a graduation degree in Civil Engineering/B.Arch/B.Planning from a recognized institution or university, along with a master’s degree in Economics/Statistics/Management/Transport Engineering/Transport Planning/Transport Economics/Traffic Engineering. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria.
Applicants will need to pay the application fee online according to their category, with a fee of ₹600 for General/OBC candidates and ₹300 for EWS/SC/ST/PWD candidates. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a written examination, interview, and document verification, scheduled to take place on March 27.
The salary for selected candidates is set between ₹50,000 to ₹2,20,000 per month. To apply, candidates should visit the official website, click on the relevant link, and log in with their credentials. They must then fill in all required information, upload the necessary documents, photos, and signatures, pay the application fee, and finally submit the form. It is advisable to take a printout of the form for future reference.
