Realme is gearing up to bring back its flagship Realme GT series to India. Realme founder and CEO Sky Lee hinted that the GT series will be revived in the country by the X. The latest additions target the domestic premium mid-range market segment.
Realme has not revealed the name or details of the upcoming phone. It has been confirmed that the brand will launch the Realme GT Neo 6 on May 9 in China. This phone is the brother of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE, which was officially announced in early April.
Sky Li confirmed via XPost on Tuesday (May 7) that the Realme GT series will return to India. The brand will launch the sixth generation of the GT series as part of its six-year anniversary in Japan. Realme wants to target the mid-market segment with its new product line. The post doesn’t reveal much about the names or specifications of the smartphones, but confirms that the new line will be flagships, as mentioned above.
Although the exact model has not been announced yet, there is strong speculation that the Realme GT 6 will be launched soon. Realme’s GT Neo 3 and GT 2 Pro are now available in India.
Meanwhile, Realme is preparing to launch the Realme GT Neo 6 in China on May 9th. The phone is confirmed to use the 3rd generation Snapdragon 8s processor. The phone features an 8T LTPO display, IP65 build, up to 1TB of storage and a 5500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
The Realme GT Neo 6 SE was launched in China in April and was priced at CNY 1,699 (around Rs 18,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The phone is powered by a 3rd generation Snapdragon 7+ processor and features an 8T LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a maximum brightness of 6000 nits. The phone features a 50MP dual camera unit on the back and a 5500mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.
