(Udaipur Kiran News | Jaipur, October 3, 2025) — Rajasthan Police will mark Police Commemoration Day on October 21, 2025, with statewide events to honor police personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty between September 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025.

The main ceremony will be held at the Police Martyrs’ Memorial, Rajasthan Police Academy, Jaipur, at 8:00 AM, alongside parallel events at all district headquarters.
Jaipur Event Highlights
Additional Director General of Police (Administration, Law & Order) Vishal Bansal informed that the ceremony in Jaipur will be led by Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma, who will take the salute and pay tribute to the martyrs. The names of all police personnel who laid down their lives on duty will be read out after the Guard of Honor.

Guard of Honor: To be presented by Jaipur Commissionerate, 4th Battalion RAC, and 5th Battalion RAC platoons.

Presence of Officers: All IPS and RPS officers posted in Jaipur will attend.

Special Guests: A retired DGP-rank officer and a retired non-gazetted police officer will also be invited.
Statewide Activities
Tribute ceremonies will also be conducted at police lines or martyrs’ memorials across all district headquarters. In range headquarters, IGs/DIGs will take the salute, while SPs will lead the events in other districts.
Tributes and Social Initiatives

Honouring Families: Families of martyrs will be specially invited and provided transport arrangements by respective district SPs.

Blood Donation & Cleanliness Drive: Voluntary blood donation camps at RPA and police lines, along with cleanliness drives in all police offices.

Memorial Tree Plantation: Trees will be planted in memory of martyrs, with saplings planted by their family members wherever possible. Each plant will carry a nameplate of the martyr, and its long-term care will be ensured by the police.
The commemoration reflects Rajasthan Police’s commitment to “Service with Valor”, remembering fallen heroes while engaging in social and environmental initiatives to strengthen community bonds.
