Bollywood Actress Shares Her Spiritual Experience at Prayagraj’s Triveni Sangam
Prayagraj, January 30 – The ongoing Mahakumbh Mela at Triveni Sangam, Prayagraj, continues to witness the confluence of faith, devotion, and grandeur, drawing millions of devotees from all walks of life—including Bollywood celebrities. On the auspicious occasion of Mauni Amavasya, actress Poonam Pandey visited the sacred site, took a holy dip in the Ganga, and shared her spiritual experience with her fans.

Following her visit, Poonam Pandey took to social media to express her emotions, posting a photo from the holy dip with the caption: “All my sins are washed away.”
Staying true to her pre-scheduled itinerary, Poonam reached Prayagraj on Mauni Amavasya, performed the ritualistic bath, and later took a boat ride along the sacred river. Dressed in a ‘Mahakal’ kurta, she offered prayers with folded hands and expressed her delight at experiencing the spiritual vibrance of the Mahakumbh.
“I felt immense joy being among the people there. The entire atmosphere was surreal,” she shared.
Mourning the Tragic Stampede at Mahakumbh
Despite her joyous spiritual experience, Poonam Pandey also expressed deep sorrow over the stampede incident that occurred at Sangam on Mauni Amavasya night.
“The incident is extremely heartbreaking. Mahakumbh is about faith, devotion, and spirituality, and seeing such a tragedy unfold is deeply saddening. My prayers are with those who lost their lives. I hope they attain moksha,” she wrote in an emotional tribute.
Reflecting on her overall experience, Poonam penned:
“Mahakumbh… witnessing life up close, where a 70-year-old man walks barefoot for hours, where faith knows no boundaries. The devotion I witnessed left me speechless…”
