Raipur : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the concluding ceremony of BJP’s Parivartan Yatras in poll-bound Chhattisgarh on October 2, a party leader said on Thursday.
The yatras, which were launched on September 2, are being held to highlight the Central government’s achievements and the “failures” of the Congress government in the state.
The concluding ceremony will be held at the Science College ground in Raipur, said BJP state president Arun Sao.
“Prime Minister Modi will address a public meeting at the concluding ceremony of Parivartan Yatras. He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects,” Sao said.
The BJP is hoping to wrest power from the Congress in the upcoming Chhattisgarh Assembly polls. The state goes to polls in November.
