Udaipur, July 22: Marking National Broadcasting Day, the Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and the National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell jointly organised a quiz competition at the university campus to promote awareness about broadcasting and general knowledge among students.
Students from various faculties participated enthusiastically in the competition and answered questions related to broadcasting, media and current affairs.
Sanjana Agrawal, Faisal Khan, Arjun Jat and Krishnapal Singh Rathore emerged as winners of the competition.
The programme was attended by special guests from All India Radio Udaipur, including Manoj Ambesh, Dhirendra Singh (Programme Executive), RJ Shameel Sheikh and Paritosh Purohit. The speakers highlighted the importance of radio broadcasting and discussed the evolving media landscape with students.
Faculty members present on the occasion included Dr. Dileep Kumar L., Dr. Nitesh Mangal, Dr. Kanhaiya More, Dr. Mehul Patel, Dr. Shivangi Yadav, Dr. Maldev Rana and Devarshi Mehta. Representing the NSS Cell were Deepak Teli, Dr. Suresh Dev, Dr. Avantika Gupta, Tanveer and Giriraj.
