Nothing, the British brand led by Karl Pei, is all set to launch the Nothing Phone 2a Plus in India on July 31st. Nothing has seriously teased the upcoming phone’s components to build excitement around the launch. Recently, Nothing released the Nothing Phone 2a Plus chipset. The phone is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity processor and also has 12GB of RAM. The Nothing Phone 2A Plus is expected to receive updates over the Nothing Phone 2A.
The chipset of the 2a Plus phone has not been confirmed.
In a new post on X (formerly Twitter), Nothing confirms that the Nothing Phone 2a Plus is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC. Powered by an octa-core processor clocked at up to 3.0GHz, the new phone is said to perform around 10 percent faster than the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro-based Nothing Phone 2a.
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus has 12GB of RAM. The built-in memory can be expanded up to nearly 20 GB using RAM Booster technology. It packs a Mali-G610 MC4 GPU clocked at up to 1.3GHz, which the company says is 30 percent faster than the previous model. So far, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus has been announced to launch in India on July 31.
Phone 2a price, without specification
The 2a phone was launched in May with an updated Glyph interface and was priced at Rs 23,999 for the base configuration with 8GB + 128GB RAM and internal storage. It has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display (1080 x 2412 pixels) with an adaptive refresh rate between 30 Hz and 120 Hz and up to 12 GB of RAM. There are two 50-megapixel sensors on the back. There is a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video chat.
Nothing’s Phone 2a offers up to 256GB of internal storage and has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is equipped with two stereo speakers and has dust and water protection according to the IP54 standard. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
