No Shortcut to Success, Only Hard Work Pays Off: IAS Abhishek Khanna

Udaipur, July 19 – A major opportunity unfolded for students preparing for competitive exams in Udaipur, as Mewar Jan Shakti Dal and Gyan Jyoti Free Coaching Institute jointly organized a large-scale Career Counseling and Motivational Seminar on Saturday, July 19. The event was held at the Municipal Corporation auditorium under the leadership of Mewar Jan Shakti Dal founder Naresh Kumar Sharma.

The chief guest of the program was KK Gupta, Coordinator of the Swachh Bharat Mission. Prominent speakers included IAS Abhishek Khanna (Commissioner, Udaipur Municipal Corporation), Himanshu Singh Rajawat from the Police Department, and Rahul Kumar, Director of Gyan Jyoti Free Coaching Institute.

IAS Abhishek Khanna delivered a powerful message to the attendees, stating, “There is no shortcut to success. It can only be achieved through hard work.” He shared his inspiring journey from a small village to becoming Udaipur’s Municipal Commissioner, encouraging the youth to stay dedicated.

Police officer Himanshu Singh Rajawat emphasized the importance of complete devotion and dedication in any career. Through relatable stories, he motivated participants and stressed that no matter the work, honest effort and personal integrity are essential.

Rahul Kumar advised young people to always dream big and work day and night to achieve those dreams. He highlighted the role of education in women empowerment, urging girls to recognize the power of the pen.

Program patron Eak Jain announced the launch of a free library in Udaipur soon, adding another valuable resource for local students.

Chief guest KK Gupta shared his experiences from the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, recounting how, during his 10-year tenure as Chairman of the Dungarpur Municipal Council, the city was transformed into one of the cleanest and most beautiful in India. In recognition of his work, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appointed him as a brand ambassador for the Swachh Bharat campaign. Just two days ago, Dungarpur was again declared the cleanest city in the state and was awarded for its excellence.

All participants and guests took a cleanliness pledge during the event.

At the conclusion, Kapil Paliwal extended gratitude and best wishes to all participants, encouraging them to strive with full dedication to achieve their goals.

The event was conducted by patron Atul Sharma, with the presence of Dr. Parameer Singh Rao, Arun Kothari, Chitrasen, Salumber district president Motilal Audichya, and executive members of the Salumber team.
