Dignitaries and participants took pledge of Unity and flagged off Run for Unity from NCPA, Nariman point Mumbai to Marine Drive.
The run saw participation of college students, police, NCC among others. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis after flagging off the run said Run for Unity is organised every year on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
He added that removal of article 370 and special status to Jammu and Kashmir is in a way fulfillment of Sardar’s dream of United India.
