Kids disowned by grand parents rescued by police in Dungarpur

UdaipurTwo young boys who were thrown out of their homes by their grandparents were rescued and given in the custody of helpline in Dungarpur on Friday. The boys were left to fend for themselves who roamed about in the bus stand area for three days without ample food and shelter in this harsh weather

Someone took pity on two boys who were seen roaming around at the bus stand on Friday and informed the police.  Cops brought the kids to Kotwali police station where the SHO Chandmal Singharia made enquiry about the kids. Sahil (8) and his brother Ashish (7) told the officer that they hailed from Mada Fala Samited village under Ramsagda police station area. Their mother had left them for another man years ago while their father worked as a labourer in Gujarat.

The boys lived with their grandparents who threw them out of the house three days ago. Moved by their plight,  the cops arranged food and clothes for the boys and informed the child line. The officer said that the grandparents would be confronted and counselled to take back the children and also ensure that they are not rendered homeless again.
