Rajasthan to Get 3 New Train Services, Including Amrit Bharat Express; Check Routes and Stops

Jaipur, October 6 (Udaipur Kiran): Railway passengers in Rajasthan are set to get three new train services after Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw approved the operation of three trains passing through the state following a request from Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

The approved services include the Bhuj–Barauni Amrit Bharat Express, Haridwar–Okha Express and Haridwar–Veraval Express. The new services are expected to strengthen rail connectivity between different parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and other parts of North India.

Bhuj–Barauni Amrit Bharat Express

The new Amrit Bharat Express will run between Bhuj in Gujarat and Barauni in Bihar. In Rajasthan, its route will cover Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City and Bharatpur.

According to the available information, train number 19427 Bhuj–Barauni Amrit Bharat Express will cover around 2,532 km. It is scheduled to depart from Bhuj at 5:30 PM and reach Barauni at around 4:05 AM on the fourth day after a journey of nearly 58 hours and 35 minutes.

On the return journey, 19428 Barauni–Bhuj Amrit Bharat Express is scheduled to depart from Barauni at 11:55 PM and reach Bhuj at around 1:15 PM on the fourth day.

The Bhuj–Barauni service is proposed to operate on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, while the return service is proposed for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The official start date has not yet been announced.

Haridwar–Okha and Haridwar–Veraval Express Routes

The Haridwar–Okha Express and Haridwar–Veraval Express have been approved to operate through Rajasthan via Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer and Abu Road.

The services will provide passengers from these cities with additional rail connectivity to Haridwar as well as Gujarat and other major parts of western India.

The approval is also significant for passengers from Kishangarh. According to the available information, train numbers 14326/14325 Haridwar–Veraval Express and 14328/14327 Haridwar–Okha Express have been approved to operate via the Kishangarh–Ajmer route.

Bhuj–Barauni Train to Connect Several States

The Bhuj–Barauni Amrit Bharat Express will provide long-distance connectivity between Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Its route will include major stations such as Mathura, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur.

More Travel Options for Rajasthan Passengers

The introduction of the three services will provide additional travel options to passengers in several parts of Rajasthan and strengthen regional rail connectivity.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the operation of these trains will further improve connectivity in the state. However, the detailed timetable and final start date of the two Haridwar-Gujarat services will become clear only after the Railway authorities issue the official schedule.
