Patna, February 18: Popular Bhojpuri singer and actor Khesari Lal Yadav recently expressed his admiration for BJP MP Manoj Tiwari. In a conversation, he stated, “Manoj Bhaiya has always been like an elder brother to me. I don’t need to join any political party to prove this.”
Khesari Lal emphasized that Manoj Tiwari has been his role model. “One does not need to join a party to serve as a role model. Wherever he needs me, I will always stand by him like a younger brother,” he added.
Regarding his return to politics, Khesari Lal mentioned that he prefers to remain an artist. “In politics, one has to tell many lies, and that’s not something I can do. I am a truthful person, and truth doesn’t work in politics. I once contested an election due to certain circumstances, but I have realized that honesty doesn’t prevail here. Therefore, I am very happy as an artist. I have a deep attachment to music and singing; that is my life. Right now, I am not thinking about politics. I am content where I am.”
Khesari Lal Yadav is a beloved figure in the Bhojpuri film industry, ruling the hearts of millions with his songs. He will soon be seen in the film ‘Agnipariksha,’ which has generated significant excitement among fans.
The film, directed by Lal Babu Pandit, is produced by Surinder Yadav and features Khesari alongside Akanksha and Neelam in lead roles. Other notable actors in the film include Sushil Singh, Prakash Jais, Sonu Pandey, Ritu Chauhan, Vinod Mishra, Sonia Mishra, Mahesh Acharya, Priyanka Soni, and Deepak Sinha.
