Udaipur, November 28 (Udaipur Kiran): The judo competition organised under the Khelo India University Games 2025 concluded on Friday in Udaipur. On the final day, intense medal bouts were witnessed in the men’s category, with players displaying strong performances.

On Friday, matches were held in the men’s 100 kg and above weight category. District Sports Officer Dr Mahesh Paliwal said that in the men’s +100 kg category, Hrithik Kumar of LPU won the gold medal. Yash of CU secured the silver medal, while Rohit of GNDU and Yash Tanwar of DU had to be satisfied with bronze medals. During the closing ceremony, the guests awarded medals and certificates to all the winners. The guests said that national-level events like Khelo India provide both a platform and inspiration to the youth. With excellent organisation and disciplined arrangements, Udaipur has once again proved its capability.
Meanwhile, under the Khelo India University Games, the excitement of the beach volleyball competition will begin from Saturday. All preparations, including player registration, were completed on Friday at the venue prepared in the Mahakaleshwar Temple परिसर. According to the organisers, spectators will get to enjoy sports along with a beautiful lake view and a festive atmosphere. The beach volleyball matches will start from Saturday. Similarly, the kayaking and canoeing events will begin from December 2.
