Kochi, Feb 27 : Kerala Industry Minister P Rajeev on Sunday received the first batch of Malayalee students at Cochin International Airport, who arrived from Mumbai, following their evacuation from the war-hit country of Ukraine. “Happy to see the smiles on the faces of Malayalee students who were evacuated from Ukraine by the on Government,” the Minister told newspersons. Sources said that 11 students arrived at the Cochin International Airport and four at Kozhikode Airport. A few more students will reach the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport this evening. Besides the Industry Minister, Congress MP Benny Behanan and MLAs Roji M John and Anvar Sadath were present at the airport. A large number of relatives of the students also reached the airport, to receive their near and dear ones. DS RJ
