Mumbai, September 16 (Patrika English News). Shares of John Cockerill India rose over 3% on Tuesday after the company announced it had secured an order worth around ₹80 crore from Tata Steel.

The stock opened at ₹4,448.00 on the BSE and touched a high of ₹4,579.90 before trading at ₹4,539.75, up by ₹159.00 or 3.63% from the previous close of ₹4,380.75. Around 5,138 shares changed hands during the session. The company’s market capitalisation currently stands at ₹2,246.73 crore.
The order involves engineering, design, manufacturing, and supply of equipment for a push-pull pickling line and an acid regeneration plant to be installed at Tata Steel’s Jamshedpur (Tinplate Division) facility in Jharkhand. The scope also includes supervision of erection and commissioning of the project.
