Udaipur : An information assistant was brutally attacked by three bike-borne miscreants while returning home from duty near the dam on Rishidev Road in Semari police station area. The miscreants stabbed the information assistant, Chetan Lal Meena (27), a resident of Bhopaphala Sadakdi, in the stomach and fled the scene with his bag and mobile phone.

Meena was rushed to Semari Hospital with the help of passersby, but due to his critical condition, he was referred to Udaipur MB Hospital. Upon receiving the information, Semari police station reached the spot, inspected the scene, and gathered information about the case. The police immediately set up nakabandi and started searching for the miscreants. They are also scanning CCTV footage in the area to track down the accused.
The police said that the preliminary investigation suggests that the case was a robbery attempt. The search for the accused is underway.
