In a bold stride to redefine the mid-range smartphone category, Infinix has officially launched the Infinix Note 50x, the fourth and most budget-friendly entrant in its Note 50 lineup. Boasting MediaTek’s newly marketed Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, the device aims to offer flagship-grade performance at an affordable price, pushing the boundaries of what users can expect in this competitive segment.

Despite its aggressive pricing strategy, the Note 50x doesn’t compromise on design or performance. It is equipped with a 6.67-inch LCD panel, delivering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling and gameplay. While the display resolution remains HD+, the device’s brightness levels—peaking at 672 nits—ensure visibility even in challenging lighting conditions.
Under the hood, the Infinix Note 50x features the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, a 4nm processor that, despite its flashy name, shares its DNA with the standard Dimensity 7300. The octa-core CPU clocks in at 2.5 GHz, supported by a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It comes paired with 128 GB of internal storage and offers RAM variants of 6 GB or 8 GB, making multitasking and storage both efficient and flexible for users.
Camera Innovations and AI Integration Drive User Experience
The rear camera system of the Note 50x is highlighted by a 50 MP main sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, capable of recording 4K videos—a rare feat at this price point. Infinix has gone further by embedding AI-powered tools like AI Eraser, enhancing the user’s ability to fine-tune and creatively edit photos post-capture.
On the front, an 8 MP punch-hole selfie camera ensures social media-ready portraits and video calls. The inclusion of Android 15-based XOS 15 software enriches the experience with generative AI features. These include a Wallpaper Generator, an AI Writing Assistant, and Circle to Search functionality. Folax, the proprietary voice assistant by Infinix, adds a personalized AI layer to daily tasks.
Long-Lasting Battery and Rugged Build Cater to Durability Demands
Battery longevity takes center stage with the Infinix Note 50x, which houses a robust 5,500 mAh cell. It supports 45W fast charging and 10W wired reverse charging—handy for juicing up other gadgets on the go. What sets this battery apart is its endurance: it is engineered for 2,300 charging cycles, nearly tripling the current industry average of 800 cycles. This translates to a usable lifespan of up to six years, aligning with consumers’ growing expectations for long-term reliability.
The phone is also geared for toughness, with an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, and it meets the MIL-STD-810H standard for military-grade durability. Visually, the Infinix Note 50x doesn’t hold back either. Its finish varies by color, with standout options including the vegan leather Sea Breeze Green, as well as Sunset Spice Pink (a brown hue), Enchanted Purple, and Titanium Gray.
Infinix has yet to disclose official pricing or release schedules, but with its premium specs, solid battery credentials, and bold design language, the Note 50x is poised to disrupt the sub-premium smartphone category across global markets.
