IndiGo’s 9 Flights Delayed at Jaipur Airport

Jaipur, December 3 (Udaipur Kiran): As many as nine IndiGo flights were delayed for several hours at Jaipur Airport on Wednesday evening due to a shortage of crew and operational disruptions. The delays caused long waiting hours for passengers, while flight timings were repeatedly changed citing operational reasons.

The first major delay of the evening was reported on the Mumbai route. IndiGo flight 6E-5324, scheduled to depart at 7:05 pm, finally took off at 8:45 pm. Similarly, the Hyderabad-bound flight 6E-6481 was delayed by nearly two and a half hours and departed at 10:45 pm.

Passengers on other routes also faced inconvenience. The Bengaluru-bound flight 6E-373, scheduled for 9:55 pm, was rescheduled to depart at 10:50 pm. The Delhi flight 6E-5136 was delayed by more than one and a half hours and is now set to depart at 1:10 am. Another Mumbai-bound flight, 6E-5166, was delayed by about one hour and will depart at 12:55 am.

Among other delayed flights, the Hyderabad flight 6E-471 took off at 6:25 pm after being delayed by over an hour. The Chennai flight 6E-694 departed at 7:15 pm with a delay of nearly two hours. The Dehradun flight 6E-7468 departed at 6:50 pm after a delay of around one and a quarter hours, while the Ahmedabad flight 6E-7524 took off at 7:40 pm after a delay of about one and a half hours.

According to Jaipur Airport sources, IndiGo is currently facing crew shortages along with technical and operational issues in several aircraft. Due to these reasons, many flights are being delayed daily, causing significant परेशानी for passengers travelling to and from Jaipur via IndiGo.
