Indian Army Opens 90 Vacancies for 12th Pass Candidates
The Indian Army invites applications for 90 technical positions under TES-57 for unmarried male candidates, with a deadline of November 12.
New Delhi, October 14 (Udaipur Kiran) : The Indian Army has announced a significant opportunity for young individuals eager to serve the nation. Under the Technical Entry Scheme (TES-57), the Army is inviting applications for 90 temporary positions targeted at unmarried male candidates.
The online application process commenced at noon on October 14 and will remain open until November 12. Interested candidates can complete their registration on the official Join Indian Army website before the deadline.
To be eligible, applicants must have passed their 12th-grade examination or an equivalent from a recognized board, securing a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Additionally, candidates are required to have appeared for the JEE (Mains) 2026.
The age criteria for applicants range from a minimum of 16.5 years to a maximum of 19.5 years, calculated as of July 1, 2027.
Selection will be based on a shortlist of applications, followed by an SSB interview, medical examination, and a merit list. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹56,100 per month during training. Once confirmed in the rank of Lieutenant, their starting salary will range between ₹56,100 and ₹177,500, along with additional benefits and allowances.
It is important to note that these vacancies are provisional and may be adjusted based on the training capacity of the Cadet Training Wings. The number of vacancies could be increased or decreased depending on the organization’s requirements. Successful completion of the four-year course will lead to a permanent commission as a Lieutenant in the Army.
