India Opt to Bat Against Netherlands in T20 World Cup

Ahmedabad, February 18, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) – India won the toss and elected to bat against the Netherlands in the T20 World Cup match being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

The Indian team has made two changes to its playing XI from the previous match. Arshdeep Singh and Washington Sundar have been included in the side. Axar Patel has been rested, while Kuldeep Yadav has been left out.

India has already secured a place in the Super-8 stage of the tournament. However, the world’s No. 1 T20 batter Abhishek Sharma is yet to open his account in the competition, having been dismissed for zero against Pakistan and the United States.
