New Delhi (Udaipur Kiran): The implementation of the new GST 2.0 has brought major relief for two-wheeler buyers across India. With the tax on bikes and scooters below 350cc reduced from 28% to 18%, prices in this segment have dropped significantly — by up to ₹10,000 on commuter bikes and scooters priced under ₹1 lakh. This has boosted sales of already popular models like the Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125.

Here’s a detailed comparison of how the new GST has affected the prices of both these leading scooters.
Honda Activa 125 Price After GST 2.0
Honda Activa 125 is available in two variants — DLX and H-Smart, priced at ₹88,339 and ₹91,983 respectively after GST 2.0. The scooter has seen a price cut of up to ₹8,259. Earlier, the top-end H-Smart variant used to cost slightly above ₹1 lakh.
The Activa 125 is among Honda’s best-selling products in India. It is powered by a 123.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 8.4hp and 10.5Nm of torque. Recently, the model received emission updates and now features a TFT display.
Suzuki Access 125 Price After GST 2.0
Suzuki Access 125 is offered in multiple variants — Standard Edition, Special Edition, Ride Connect Edition, and Ride Connect TFT Edition. After the GST cut, the prices now start at ₹77,284 and go up to ₹93,877 for the top-spec variant. Previously, the prices ranged between ₹84,000 and ₹1.02 lakh, giving buyers a discount of ₹7,106 to ₹8,523.
The Access 125 has also received major updates with a refined engine, improved chassis, and new LED headlamps and tail-lamps. It runs on a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 8.4hp and 10.2Nm of torque.
Price Comparison After GST 2.0
After the GST revision, Honda Activa 125 is priced between ₹88,339 and ₹91,983 (ex-showroom), while Suzuki Access 125 ranges from ₹77,284 to ₹93,877. The top-spec Access TFT variant is ₹1,894 costlier than the Activa H-Smart variant.
Overall, GST 2.0 has made both scooters more affordable, offering buyers a wider choice in the 125cc premium scooter segment with reduced prices.
